Bio: I graduated with Distinction in 1966, with Physics as my major subject, from Madras University. I won National Merit Scholarship for Higher studies. I am a trained teacher in Carnatic music and classical Bharatha Naatyam. I Started "Sangeetha Naatyaalayaa" and trained hundreds of students in B.H.P.V.Township (Visakhapatnam- A.P) between 1975 and 1994. I have two diplomas in Hindi, two in Journalism, two in drawing and painting and three in Carnatic music. I am a regular contributor to Young World of The Hindu since 1993. My two sons have settled down in USA with their families. I and my husband have settled down in Coimbatore since 1994 after he took Voluntary Retirement.
